- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil

- pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 2-3 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece fresh ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon crushed chili pepper flakes
- 2 tablespoons water
Directions
- Add the shrimp to a large mixing bowl, and coat them with the olive oil.
- Season with the salt and pepper.
- Toss the shrimp with the Cajun seasoning.
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat on the stovetop.
- Add the shrimp.
- Season the shrimp with the garlic, ginger, and crushed chili pepper flakes.
- Cook until the shrimp turns pink and no gray remains, reaching an internal temperature of 145 degrees F, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the 2 tablespoons of water to help scrape the brown bits off the bottom of the skillet.
- Coat the shrimp thoroughly in the sauce.
- Taste for seasoning.
- Serve.
