Classic Chicken Salad


  • 4 cups chicken breast, cooked and chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped finely
  • bread of choice, for serving (optional)
  • Lettuce, for serving (optional)


  1. Mix the chicken, salt, black pepper, mayonnaise, lemon juice, and chopped celery together well in a bowl.
  2. Refrigerate for at least an hour.
  3. Serve on lettuce or in a sandwich.
