Ingredients
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 2-3 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece fresh ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon crushed chili pepper flakes
- 2 tablespoons water
Directions

Add the shrimp to a large mixing bowl, and coat them with the olive oil.

Season with the salt and pepper.

Toss the shrimp with the Cajun seasoning.

Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat on the stovetop.

Add the shrimp.

Season the shrimp with the garlic, ginger, and crushed chili pepper flakes.

Cook until the shrimp turns pink and no gray remains, reaching an internal temperature of 145 degrees F, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the 2 tablespoons of water to help scrape the brown bits off the bottom of the skillet.

Coat the shrimp thoroughly in the sauce.

Taste for seasoning.
