Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef or ground chicken or ground turkey
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons sesame seed oil
- 6-7 cups coleslaw mix
- 1-2 tablespoons sriracha
- 2 teaspoons white vinegar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon white sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
- 2-3 tablespoons green onions, chopped
Directions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, sauté the ground beef until cooked and no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
- Drain the fat from the skillet.
- Push the ground beef to one side of the skillet and add the sesame oil to the opposite side.
- Add the garlic to the hot oil and sauté until fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.
- Mix the garlic oil into the ground beef.
- Add the coleslaw mix.
- Drizzle on the sriracha, the vinegar, and the soy sauce.
- Add the sugar, the salt, and the pepper.
- Sauté until the cabbage is wilted, about 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle with the toasted sesame seeds and the green onions.
- Serve.
