German Party Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 1 pound Braunschweiger sausage, room temperature, can substitute liverwurst
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • pretzel chips, to taste, for serving

Directions

  1. In a small skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil.

  2. Add the onions to the heated olive oil and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.

  3. In a medium bowl, add the sausage, the cream cheese, and the sautéed onions and stir until well-combined.

  4. Serve the dip with the pretzel chips.
